Initially established as a Licensed Serviced Provider in terms of the Electronic Communications Act, 36 of 2005 in order to provide an alternate to fixed land line and mobile data communications, Village LAN Services has since added a number of new services.

Being driven by a firm believe to bring cost effective data communication to the masses, we are implementing technologies and packaging our services to suit a wide spectrum of end users – both private and business alike.  The cost savings realized by building and maintaining our own wireless network are directly passed onto the consumer.

Our main focus is to provide affordable and reliable uncapped Internet services with various value added services added to complement our offering.

Client equipment connections are wireless and hence there is no need for additional legacy data and or phone lines to be installed as a pre-requisite. Due to our uncapped service, there are no unforeseen costs associated with exceeding bundled data or being disconnected during the course of the month.  Distinguishing us from most Uncapped service providers, we do not implement Fair Use Policies / Usage Limits by which your line speed will be throttled once an arbitrary amount of usage date limit has been reached.  With us your line speed remains constant regardless of the amount of data used during the month.

Our data communication service is offered as advance paid, further distinguishing us from legacy DSL type services.

As part of our drive to support copyright protection, we do not allow the use of torrent applications on our network, but rather encourage our customers to make use of legal live streaming content providers.  By making use of these providers you not only protect yourself, but also receive better quality video content and an improved user experience.  Always remain cautious of “free” live stream content providers.
